This is the perfect chance for your child to see if they like dance! All mobility styles are welcome. Starting with a warm up and creative movement, the class will undertake across the floor work and put together combinations.

Create 3D papercraft called Pepakura! Ethan will share the basics of turning a computer 3D model into a paper sculpture. A quick demo will be followed by students building their own paper sculpture from a selection of pre-printed projects. This workshop focuses on the process used by the artist in his exhibition at The Gallery at Casa, ‘Faces and Facades’, November 4 – December 27, 2017.

Acro dance combines various acrobatic skills with dance movements and uses technique from ballet, jazz and contemporary to create a unique and exciting dance form. Using the Acrobatic Arts syllabus, students would work on skills and combinations in the following areas: strength, flexibility, balance, tumbling and limbering. Dancers will be given skills at the appropriate level of their current progression.

The Zentangle method is an easy to learn, fun and inexpensive art form that can be performed almost anywhere due to its minimal requirements.
