ArtNOW: Speaker Series - Mary-Anne McTrowe 12:00pm FREE

The Gallery at Casa is now streaming the University of Lethbridge`s ArtNOW speaker series.

In May of 2017, Mary-Anne McTrowe began production of a woven and felted representation of an imaginary globster, the “Blöndúos Blob”, at the Icelandic Textile Centre in Blöndúos, Iceland.

Andrew Legg: Cotton Patch Gospel Performance 8:00pm $15-$20

Andrew Legg is a multidisciplinary Artist in the fields of Visual Art, Music and Drama. His work has been seen across Western Canada stages Including: Rosebud theatre, Chemainus Theatre Festival, Prime Stock Theatre and New West Theatre. His screen credits include roles in several commercials for SHAW, Fargo, Wynonna Earp, The Detour, Hell on Wheels and the feature film Carl’s Way. Legg teaches in the theatre department at the University of Lethbridge and is father to the three cutest children in Southern Alberta.
The Cotton Patch Gospel poses the question: What if Jesus was born in 1950 in Gainesville Georgia? The result is a toe-tapping romp of the greatest story ever... re-told. This piece will challenge and delight.
