Kids Clay Handbuilding with Aaron Hagan (ages 6 – 9) – Section 2

Play with clay in a most creative way! Students learn basic handbuilding techniques such as pinch pot, coil and slab construction. Everyone is encouraged to express their creativity in clay while shaping both functional and decorative artworks under the helpful guidance of Casa’s experienced instructors.

Kids Clay Wheel with TBA (ages 9 – 12) – Section 2

Whether experiencing the potter’s wheel for the first time or having come to the class with prior experience, there is ample time to practice the pursuit of mastering clay in this six week class. Form and surface treatment allow for exploration in individual creativity, while the fundamentals of throwing fill out the rest of this hands-on class.

Casa Program Guide

The Casa Program Guide is produced three times a year; Winter, Spring/Summer and Fall. Inside the guide find listings for the upcoming class and workshop schedule, upcoming exhibitions at The Gallery, information about artists in residence and seasonal events in the building. Program guides are free. Pick-up guides at Casa or at facilities throughout the city.
