Using a variety of techniques, participants will explore mark making and layering of mixed media to create unique and expressive art journal pages, laying the foundation for you to grow a creative practice and find your unique style. This guided creative workshop will include playful practices that consider the therapeutic benefits of art making, designed for artists and non-artists alike, prioritizing process over product. Pages will then be gathered and fastened together by each participant to take with them, with the opportunity to explore further and add pages if they choose to do so.
The instructor has a Therapeutic Arts Practitioner Certification and will lead students through mindful-based art practices. Materials provided.

Program guides are free. Pick-up guides at Casa or at facilities throughout the city.
