AP PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP with Petra Mala Miller

What makes a great portrait? Learn how to effectively use tools and your imagination to create meaningful, compelling portraits that represent your subject’s personality in this one-day workshop. Explore natural and studio lighting set-ups, composition, styling, and posing to create mood and atmosphere that lends meaning to your images. Students will practice with individual and cooperative projects, taking both candid and staged portraits. Participants bring and use their own digital cameras (DSLR or rangefinder). A camera manual, tripod and laptop are useful, but not required.
