Clumped Industry Lumber – Grace Wirzba
A handful of bright ochre leaves
Pressed tight and laid on the makeshift table
In front of each of you
Now they are squashed and limp.
A play structure is made of old tires
Now my hands are black from climbing up and over
In and out
Making homes of semi circles
It smells moist and moss, blue and green
3 twigs on a log, I told you they were a gift.
