Alberta’s Restriction Exemption Program (REP) at Casa

Starting September 20th all individuals over the age of 12 entering Casa (through the EAST Entrance) will need to provide proof of vaccination status using the government mandated QR code, or proof of a negative rapid COVID test taken within 72 hours. It is important to note that we have adopted this policy to avoid cancelling programs and classes. This is in response to the Restrictions Exemption Program (REP), which can be found here: https://www.alberta.ca/covid-19-public-health-actions.aspx

Please note that masks are mandatory throughout the building.

Casa Vaccination Policy

The Allied Arts Council of Lethbridge is committed to taking reasonable precautions in the fight against COVID-19 in order to ensure the safety of clients. As such, we are introducing a vaccination policy that is consistent across all age groups accessing Casa education programming. This policy will allow us to provide a safe space for all students and staff including vulnerable populations that participate in our education programs.

Students aged 12+ are required to show proof of vaccination effective September 21, 2021. Students ages 6 – 11 years registering in Winter 2022 courses, we will now require proof of vaccination status. Verbal attestation of a single dose will be sufficient for registration purposes, with digital or paper proof will be required in advance of attending class. Confirmation of full vaccination status (two doses, with two weeks lead time on the second dose) will be required for all students including 6 – 11 year olds registering for Easter Camps, which start on April 18, 2021.

More information will be provided upon registration. The vaccination requirements will remain in effect for the duration of the pandemic, and will be reviewed in relation to updates from AHS and the province of Alberta.

Learning for all levels and disciplines

Casa is committed to providing arts education opportunities that develop skills and creativity for all ages and abilities. Look for classes in the Literary Arts, Performing Arts and Visual Arts offered throughout the year. Casa Core Classes are foundational arts classes offered regularly each season. Did you see an AP designation in a description? These are Artist Partnership classes where a working artist has partnered with us to share their unique knowledge in their artistic discipline.
