Paint a silk scarf that is entirely your own—a piece you can wear, give as a meaningful gift for Mother’s Day, or simply keep for yourself. Using Gongbi (工笔), the refined method of Chinese court painting, you will learn to guide the brush with patience: beginning with clear lines, slowly outlining forms, then building colour in delicate layers until the image reaches a luminous finish. The process is slow and focused, like a quiet meditation. As you work, you will become aware of your own breath and rhythm, finding calm in each stroke.
Beginners welcome. Materials provided.
