Intro to Clay Wheel (Tuesdays) – Section 5

Uncover the basics! Learn the characteristics of clay, how to wedge and prepare it for the wheel, to create forms using a step-by-step instructional method. With a fundamental, skills-based approach to throwing, students will learn correct hand-positioning and use of tools. The class will culminate in an evening of glazing where students will complete their pieces prior to kiln firing.
Materials provided. Projects will be available for pick up approximately three weeks after the last class.
