Raku is a Japanese pottery technique that produces stunning, unpredictable glaze. Be part of the exciting kiln firing process! Build a series of functional and sculptural wares using raku clay, apply decorative glaze, and fire them in our outdoor kiln with the supervision and support of our clay technicians. Students will build their wares in the first 4 classes, then return to Casa to participate in a raku firing with the careful guidance of our clay technicians.

Casa Program Guide

The Casa Program Guide is produced three times a year; Winter, Spring/Summer and Fall. Inside the guide find listings for the upcoming class and workshop schedule, upcoming exhibitions at The Gallery, information about artists in residence and seasonal events in the building. Program guides are free. Pick-up guides at Casa or at facilities throughout the city.
