Raku is a Japanese pottery technique that produces stunning, unpredictable glaze results, and this class allows you to be a part of the exciting firing process! Build a series of functional and sculptural wares using raku clay, apply decorative glazes, and fire them in our outdoor kiln.

Students will build their wares in the first 4 classes, then return to Casa on Saturday, July 13, to participate in a raku firing with teh careful guidance of our clay technicians.

Casa Program Guide

The Casa Program Guide is produced three times a year; Winter, Spring/Summer and Fall. Program guides are free. Pick-up guides at Casa or at facilities throughout the city.
