Who is in Residence?
Gary Uchikura will be an Artist in Residence at Casa from July 4 – 31, 2022.
Gary grew up on an Alberta farm, the son of Japanese immigrants. His background in science and agriculture weaves with his artistic instincts to search for connections between land, people, and the tactile sensations and forms in ceramics.
Join Gary Uchikura for an OPEN HOUSE to see works created during his residency on Thursday, July 28 at 7:00pm at Casa.
Uchikura will also be giving ARTIST TALK and LIVE PERFORMANCE during September’s Month of the Artist on Tuesday, September 20 at 8:00pm.
