Join the Lethbridge Shakespeare Performance Society in their production of ‘Hamlet’ on Rotary Square at Casa as it plays following the Upside Downtown concert series Thursdays in July!
The ghost of the dead King of Denmark appears to his son, Hamlet, urging him to avenge his murder by killing the new King, Claudius. Hamlet pretends madness, contemplates life and death, and seeks revenge – but his Uncle Claudius, fearing for his own life, also plots to kill Hamlet.
Featuring the talents of Jesse Thibert, Avery Olsen, John Poulsen, Emily Laidlaw and many more. Lethbridge Shakespeare Performance Society’s 90 minute version of ‘Hamlet’, directed by Shelley Scott, is fast-paced and intense, with ghosts, poisonings, stabbings, and an epic duel at the end!
