Come see what Artist in Residence Tyler Alexander (April 1 – 28, 2026) has been working on in the Casa Textile Studio this month! Drop by for casual conversation, snacks and drinks. Potluck contributions are welcome, please include a list of ingredients so others can be mindful of allergens and dietary preferences.

Tyler Alexander (he/him) is a practicing textile artist, often exploring organic forms through soft sculpture, particularly with tulle and organza. Experimental and always evolving, works focus on themes of transition, psychedelia, longing, and memory. Currently an arts instructor at Casa, classes include children, youth and adult fabric dyeing, soft sculpture, needle felting, embroidery, and crochet. Alexander graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a B.Sc Environmental Science, History Minor in 2020. He has served as a board member of the Lethbridge Pride Fest, the City of Lethbridge Public Art Committee, and is a founder of the Lethbridge Ball.
