Reflections from Home – Beverly Waters
I am a process driven artist working with a variety of tools and mediums and create my paintings through a series of many layers. The work is a response to my environment and the feelings and thoughts these events invoke. It is a delicate dance of call and response. My process combines the freedom of intuitive creativity balanced with analytical decisions to create interesting compositions. This is one of the things I love most about painting. I approach my practice with a curious sense of exploration pushing my materials and chasing ideas and themes to express my inner thoughts and feelings. Through daily painting and working with a wide variety of tools, mediums, and substrates these explorations turn into finished paintings.
