Branch weaving is a simple fibre art technique that uses tree branches or sticks as the structure for the weaving yarn, ribbon, or other materials. Instead of using a traditional loom, the branches themselves become the frame.

Every piece tends to be unique because of the natural shape of the branches and the materials used for weaving.

Try you hand at branch weaving with the Textile Surface Design Guild. All materials and branches will be provided, but you can bring your own if desired.
