Become more confident with experimentation, problem-solving, and design with knitting and crochet, while making garments that reflect your unique interests, style, and body. Learn more about colour theory, personalized patternmaking, yarn sourcing and salvaging, understanding fibre properties and sensitivities, basic dyeing techniques, and digital tools (such as pixel or chart makers) to plan colour work or filet crochet.

This class is for participants who know knitting and/or crochet basics and are comfortable learning through exploration rather than step-by-step instruction. Materials provided.

Casa Program Guide

The Casa Program Guide is produced three times a year; Winter, Spring/Summer and Fall. Inside the guide find listings for the upcoming class and workshop schedule, upcoming exhibitions at The Gallery, information about artists in residence and seasonal events in the building. Program guides are free. Pick-up guides at Casa or at facilities throughout the city.
