Try your hand at flower pounding with the Textile Surface Design Guild!

Flower pounding, also known as ‘Tataki-zomé’ or ‘plant bashing,’ is a process that uses plants to create a print on material such as fabric or paper. Flowers are sandwiched in between materials and pounded with a hammer to extract colour from the plants, creating unique, one-of-a-kind prints!
